The Seladon Issue himbo-supreme-gurjin I've seen some stuff recently, mostly on dark crystal fb groups, that Seladon's plan to sacrifice a few gelfling was basically the same as the skeksis committing genocide, or that Seladon was consciously playing a role in the genocide of her own people.

Seladon becomes the new All-Maudra after her mother is murdered by the Skeksis, but rejects the notions of the Gelfling, desiring to be more like the Skeksis. She is terribly insecure due to Mayrin's formal treatment of her (even though this was because Mayrin was preparing her to be a rational ruler).

The way Seladon speaks and behaves is very reminiscent of SkekSo, or at least the little she's seen of him.. As future All-Maudra, she probably had the "chance" to meet him a few times and hang out with the skeksis. She speaks like him, acts like him, and even ends up dressing in a very similar goth style as him.

Seladon has a sibling rivalry with her youngest sister, Brea, due to their mother favoring her youngest sister. When Brea receives a ride from the Skeksis to the palace for the Tithing Ceremony, Seladon berates Brea.

Though they thankfully stop at her dress, she's then dragged screaming from the chamber by her hair. Before they rip apart her costume, she tries to convince them to spare the other Gelfling but kill the "traitors".

The Crown: Seladon's new crown is called The Crown of Unity, meant to resemble a new era of Gelfling, free from Skeksis rule. The crown, like the Living Crown, is made of seven pieces: a main headpiece, and six other pieces that make it resemble a crown.
